The Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ's substitutionary atonement on the cross for the sins of humanity and his bodily resurrection from the dead (1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:21; 1 Peter 1:3).
The Gospel also changes the way we live and how we treat people and the world. The Church has the responsibility to bring the Gospel to the world through the preaching of the Gospel (2 Timothy 4:1-2; 1 Peter 3:14-15) and by living lives that show people what Jesus was like (John 15:12-27)
